The ICTSI Philippine Specials is an eco-friendly team of ‘special needs’ footballers, aged 16-25 years old, who will be participating in the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Regional Games in Newcastle, Australia from Nov. 30 – Dec. 7, 2013.
The Henry V. Moran Foundation and the ICTSI Foundation Inc. are the lead-benefactors of this team of 15 players and 3 coaches. In line with it’s focus on being eco-friendly, the team is looking for support in the form of donations for football equipment to be used by the team. All donations can be dropped off at Amici branches around Metro Manila. The ICTSI Philippine Specials is organized and managed by The Henry V. Moran Foundation.
The PHILIPPINE SPECIALS is an ‘Eco-Friendly Football Team’. It could even be the first ever football team of its kind. The players ages range from 15-to-24 years. It is for this reason I write. I seek your help & support in our endeavor to be a good example of an eco-friendly team in sport.
The ECO-FOOTBALL TRAINING CAMP: the team will be eating organic, traveling in public transportation and jogging/walking whenever possible; no plastics; and recycling as much as they can.
HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:
1). For donations of football gear, you may drop them off at any AMICI restaurant;

The PHILIPPINE SPECIALS FOOTBALL TEAM is recognized by Special Olympics Philippines, Philippine Sports Association of the Differently-Abled, and the Philippine Football Federation.
